We’re excited to welcome Dave Eldridge as our new Chair of Trustees! Read more about his background, why he’s joined us, and his plans for the Renewal Programme.
Dave is a long-term resident of Newham having lived here for almost 40 years. He already has links with the Renewal Programme as he worked with us in the 1980s, when he developed the ‘Newham Care & Repair’ service. Most of his working life has been spent in housing and social care work, and he has also served as a board member for various organisations. He is currently a trustee of another small charity.
Now he is re-joining us, where he’ll be using his time to help make a difference in Newham. His knowledge of our organisation and his experience in housing and social care work will be a great asset in our continued work in supporting the community in Newham.
As for his future plans for the Renewal Programme, Dave says that he will “continue to support Peter and the rest of the staff team in all the good work that is going on” providing vision and direction in demonstrating the integral part that the Renewal Programme plays in Newham life.
We’re looking forward to working with Dave again and wish him the best of luck and the warmest of welcomes!
