50 Years, 50 Faces: Molly Patten
“My name is Molly Patten and I joined the Renewal Programme as a Trustee at the end of 2020.
I grew up in East London and lived in Barking my whole life, up until last year when I moved out to Rayleigh.
I’ve worked within the Finance industry for 10 years, in various different Operational roles. I’ve recently picked up a new hobby and am currently learning how to figure skate.
I have recently picked up a new hobby and am currently learning how to figure skate.
Being on the Board of Trustees is something I absolutely love; I always wanted to join a charity board that was local to where I grew up.
Everything the Renewal Programme stands for matches my own values and that is exactly what drew me to applying to the Board.
I feel most connected to the Youth and Training and Education services. Growing up in East London and having the opportunities to benefit from similar programmes makes me realise even more so how important these are.
The Renewal Programme’s CEO, Peter, is both inspirational and motivating and is definitely someone who stands out for me.
The organisation is the heart of Newham and touches so many lives in such a positive way.”
