We are Hiring: Digital Marketing and Communications Lead.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving local charity with ambitious plans to help individuals and families in need. The Renewal Programme is a multi-purpose Newham based charity that is passionate about supporting those that find themselves on the margins of our community, including those affected by homelessness, food poverty and isolation. Following the development of a new strategy, communications plan, a rebrand and a refocus of the charity’s vision and mission, we are now focussed on delivering an ambitious programme of support for vulnerable and disadvantaged people across Newham.
We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications specialist to join our committed team. You will have excellent knowledge of digital communications and will bring an appetite for creativity and enthusiasm for developing strategies to grow our impact.
Working hand-in-hand with a small Fundraising team and line managing two assistants, you will lead on all our digital communications and marketing activities in order to grow and deepen our digital and social media presence and engagement and position the charity to increase fundraising capacity and online donations. You will have a good understanding of our various target audiences, what is likely to motivate them and how best to drive action to achieve positive results.
You will also broaden our engagement and influence through helping to identify, develop, and support new partnership opportunities. In a nutshell your role will be to help us reach more people, raise more funds, and build stronger relationships with our various audiences.
Our ideal candidate will be an individual with a passion for digital content and good experience of how digital technologies can be used to transform charity impact and engagement. You will also have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work in order to be able to support the needs of a relatively small local charity.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week with an opportunity for some home working subject to agreement. Please see the full job description and person specification and do note an enhanced DBS check will be required.
We can offer you a friendly team of experienced coordinators to work with and the support of a dynamic leadership team. We are able to offer employee benefits including flexible working, generous annual leave, employee salary sacrifice schemes, pension and a staff wellbeing programme. We look forward to hearing from you!
