We are on the hunt for a Fundraising and Communications Intern. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a genuine interest in working in the charity sector and would like to harness their communication and fundraising skills.
Experience you will gain:
This role will support the development of fundraising and communication skills in the charitable sector for someone with little or no previous experience. You will be supported and mentored by the Fundraising and Communications team to develop your skills and we will also support you to identify your own learning objectives to work towards.
You will have the opportunity to learn/develop the following:
– Understanding and experience of working in the charity sector, specifically marketing and comms, as well as fundraising
– Written and verbal communication skills
– Content writing
– Learning about the work of different teams at the charity
– Working as part of a successful local charity
– Any other task reasonably requested by your line manager
At the end of the internship period (12–36 months, funding permitting), there will be the possibility of a progression into a more permanent role, if high performance is demonstrated and if budget permits.
