Volunteer Social October 2022
On Tuesday 25th October, we held a Volunteer Social to celebrate our incredible volunteers. We are so pleased to announce that 33 of our current volunteers have been with us for over six months now.
Of those, 26 of them have been with us for more than one year – with a few of them coming up to two years soon!
Volunteer retention is generally an indicator of volunteer wellbeing in an organisation and our Volunteer Coordinators, Melanie and Kadiza, really do go above and beyond to ensure our volunteers feel cared for, supported and appreciated.
Our volunteers are integral to our work and without them, we wouldn’t be able to support as many Newham residents as we do.
