It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our volunteer Jacquie, who was part of our Training and Education department, assisting our teacher Nicola with Basic IT classes since January 2022.
She had written:” My experience volunteering with the Renewal Programme was great. I volunteered assisting the basic IT teacher Nicola who was very nice, she made the class enjoyable for the learners as well as for us the volunteers”.
Jacquie gained in confidence as we got to know her, her sweet giggle occasionally bursting out. She was a dedicated volunteer and a genuinely kind person. She will be missed by our team and the learners she supported.
Our thoughts go out to her family.
