Newham Connecting through Art
On the 4th March, our ESOL and Art teacher, Aneesa hosted an art exhibition displaying her learner’s amazing pieces!
Our learners got the chance to show their hard work, through tie dye, rock painting, embroidery, book art and collections of photos.
Our Learning ESOL through art course supports all level of English speakers to gain the confidence and means to express themselves as they work together to capture their culture, skills, experience and friendships. This course incorporates play into learning, encouraging our learners not only to have fun, but reminds us to be curious and creative, helping us gain a deeper understanding of what we learn.
Attendees also had the opportunity to get hands-on experience of our Learners skills through Henna and had a go at Mandala colouring!
