On August Bank Holiday we launched our new meanwhile space to the community and held an Ideas Day!
We wanted to give our community the chance to have their voice heard, and we are so grateful to everybody who attended, and who told us what they would like to see from the space.
With over 300 hundred people attending, we were so proud and excited to see the strong community spirit, rich diversity, and creative ideas that were bouncing around on the day!
On the day, we had activities for the whole family such as face painting, henna, arts and crafts, table tennis and a bouncy castle!
One of the most important things for us when launching our new community space, was to have artwork that represents what we stand for as a charity, and the people of our wonderful and diverse community in Newham, thank you so much to Kaira for live painting a beautiful mural for us!
