Our Community Pantry provides essential food and non food items at a discounted rate.
What is the project?
Our Community Pantry runs as part of our Newham United Against Food Waste project. We provide fresh food and toiletries for a lower price, allowing residents to gain independence. We provide culturally appropriate foods to empower our diverse community.
How can I access?
We are currently not taking new referrals due to being at capacity.
When does the project run?
Every Thursday from 12:30PM – 2:30PM, at 395 High Street North, E12 6PG, in our Community Hub.
Who is behind the project?
Meet Rob
Rob is our Surplus Food Partnership Coordinator, and is responsible for running our Community Pantry whilst ensuring we are stocking this with culturally appropriate food to meet the needs of our diverse community. Rob has two years previous experience working with cargo bikes in logistics, and has five years of general Logistics Management knowledge.
