How to Enrol
Enrolment for January classes will be held Monday 16th December 2024.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Some of our ESOL classes are suitable for refugees and people seeking asylum, from Absolute Beginners to Level 2.
Classes are available morning or afternoon.
You will study 3 modules:
Speaking & Listening, Reading, Writing.
Each module lasts 12 weeks.
Once completed, you will have the opportunity to progress to the next level and you have the option of taking examinations.
Essential Digital Skills Qualifications
Digital Skills classes can help you improve your computer skills for the workplace and in your personal life. These courses are both suitable for absolute beginners and are open to people seeking asylum and refugees.
Beginners: Word, e-mail and internet
Essential Digital Skills Entry 3: e-mails, files and folders, Word, keyboard skills, internet, staying secure online
Essential Digital Skills Level 1: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, files and folders, internet, gaining confidence
NEW! Hospitality and Catering
The course offers a mixture of practical and theoretical activities including:
· Food preparation and cooking
· Customer service
· Health and Safety.
Level 1 qualification (accredited through gateway). This is a six week course, every Monday and Thursday from 09.30am-2.30pm
More Information.
- Must have ESOL entry 3 writing skills minimum (will be assessed upon enrolment)
- It is free for most people who are on a low income or in receipt of benefits
- Anyone over the age of 19 interested in learning more about the hospitality and catering industry. Anyone who is looking for work in the hospitality and catering industry
- There will be no exam. You will assemble a portfolio of evidence of the work you have completed.
