Spreading happiness, hope and joy with our spooky season small wins.
October has been a very busy month for us at the Renewal Programme.
We’re running around getting ready for fast approaching end of 2023!
We are so excited to keep you up to date on our upcoming events.
Newham Young Carer’s had a packed half-term. Our unsung heroes, who selflessly care for their loved ones, unwind-ed and had some well-deserved fun. From outdoor adventures to arts and crafts sessions, the smiles and laughter were truly heartwarming. The support and recognition they received during this half-term break are a reminder of the importance of acknowledging their invaluable contributions and ensuring they have the chance to enjoy their childhood too.
StreetWise Opera is back with a bang! Our first 2023 session turned our Supported Housing lobby into a stage, and the voices of our participants resonated with an unmatched passion. The experience was a harmonious blend of camaraderie, creativity, and empowerment. In this extraordinary encounter, old faces and new discovered the transformative power of music and art to create something beautiful. As an extra bonus, our well loved piano made a special feature with the team!
Our Newham United Against Food Waste Initiative has been picking up momentum! Volunteers have passed the finish line of training and tryouts. Cyclists join forces to rescue surplus food from local businesses and markets, distributing it to those in need. ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ
Newham United Against Food Waste aims to highlight the importance of reducing food waste and promoting environmental consciousness through the power of pedal. By turning bike rides into a food rescue adventure, they’re paving the way for a greener, healthier, and more connected community. ๐
