Over three weeks during the summer, we held free summer youth programmes for children ages 4-6 and 9-12 in Kensington Primary School, Manor pre-school and our young carers programme in our building. As part of our programme, we had games, sports, arts and crafts and food. The children enjoyed activities such as football, archery, non-contact boxing, dancing, painting, face paint and henna. On the last day we even had an awards ceremony and water balloons!
This year, we also had volunteers from the Ursuline Academy helping us and gaining work experience, it was lovely to have them all on board and part of the team.
We were kindly funded by London Borough of Newham and East End Community Foundation, thank you to both of them for making our programme happen.
