50 Years, 50 Faces: Nicola Lane
I first came for an interview for the post of IT Tutor when Training and Education were based at Woodgrange Learning Centre in Forest Gate.
At the time of interview I was 9 months pregnant and gave birth to my son the next day; he is just sitting his GCSE’s now, so you know how long I have worked for the Renewal Programme!I have roughly calculated that I have taught around 1500 learners – from complete beginners to level 3 – and am proud to have made even a small impact on the lives of Newham residents.
The Renewal Programme is a great place to work.
